Change is afoot – ironically, once upon a time, Sian was going to name her pedicure bar this! With mixed emotions Sian is announcing her retirement. After 22 years based at Whitchurch, filled with laughter, friendships, great chats and, of course, thousands of beautiful nail creations, Sian is closing Nail Divas as you know it. Turning 60 (although in this author’s opinion she really doesn’t look it!) plus the one-year anniversary of Sian’s husband, Ian, passing away has led Sian to this difficult decision. Although not ready to don her slippers and put her feet up, Sian is ready to embrace new adventures. A Bittersweet Goodbye

For years, Nail Divas has been a sanctuary for those seeking beauty, relaxation, and top-tier nail artistry. From intricate acrylic designs to classic manicures, Sian and her team have delivered nothing short of excellence. The decision to close the salon was not easy, but Sian is ready to embrace retirement and the new chapters ahead.

Continuing the Passion from Home

Sian’s love for creating stunning acrylic nails is unwavering. While the salon may be closing, Sian will continue with Nail Divas at home, in Newport. Offering her exceptional services working one day a week for her loyal clients, Sian looks forward to keeping her hand in (excuse the pun)! Regulars can still enjoy her meticulous attention to detail and artistic flair, ensuring that their acrylic nails remain as fabulous as ever.

Education and Empowerment

Sian’s dedication to the nail industry extends beyond providing beautiful nails; she is also passionate about education. She will continue to offer her renowned training courses, empowering aspiring nail technicians with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. This also includes her charity work, Fourteen A Ltd, training youngsters who may be overlooked by other industries. These one-to-one, face-to-face courses will be conducted at various locations, ensuring accessibility for all. Additionally, you will receive an NTA certificate on successful completion of your chosen course.

Citizens of Whitchurch however can breathe a sigh of relief! Although Nail Divas will be closing, Carly, Sian’s very experienced manager, is taking the exciting step of opening her own beauty salon at the same location. Carly is currently waiting to announce the name of her new business, but Sian and the Nail Divas team want to wish her all the very best in her new venture!
